Monitoring the economic impact of COVID-19 – both the abrupt slowdown as well as the reopening – has created a clear need for timely and high frequency data. As a result, numerous new statistics have emerged. This webinar contains a collection of these new statistics along with some tried and tested ones. For many of the new statistics, their history is insufficient to gauge their accuracy, though they generally appear to be informative. The data presented are mostly for the US. Be prepared for some startling charts!
